Now that public pressure has forced Barak Obama to grudgingly visit our troops on the ground in Iraq, I'm prepared for a climax. The drive-by media plans to send an entourage befitting a rock star of his magnitude. Cameras, lights, sound men- the works. I wonder if the creative types at "Team Obama" can stage another recreation of the flag raising on Iwo Jima like the Enviro-wackos did. Maybe they could have a diverse sampling of soldiers raising a white flag. It might also be time for a series on skin cancer caused by the purple voting ink used in the Iraqi elections.
Obama might think that with Streisand or Springsteen providing the soundtrack, slapping America around on foreign soil will sound legitimate. A trip to the Starbucks in the green zone might provide just the right ambience for such insightful commentary.
It occurs to me that it might be a time to build bridges to the disenfranchised mullahs in the mountains. I recommend copies of US tax code so the insurgents can properly register as 501(c)3 corporations. It,s obvious that American man made global warming is taking it's toll in Iraq. The once verdant countryside left barren, preventing ecology conscious terrorists from making eco-friendly ethanol.
This Che Guevarra wanne be makes me sick. The media that props him up makes me sick and the academic culture that provides the manure to fertilize marxist thought makes me sick.
This is "The Surreal Life" in Bagdad.
